Romeo and Juliet Assignment 2 Character Study Select one character from the play and make notes as we read about your character. You may select one format for displaying your findings to the following questions on your wiki page. (6) Select one hand prop (e.g. sword, wine goblet, piece of jewellery) which you would have this character use often, or be associated with, in a production of the play. Explain why this object suits your character.

Romeo and Juliet Assignment Three Comic Strip Representation
Now that you have completed Act I of Romeo and Juliet it is time to rewrite this act in a short (no more than 8 frames) comic strip.
Think carefully about what the reader really needs to know by the end of Act I. Try to use key lines from the story to match the key images but you can add words of your own.
You may use whatever format you wish to in order to produce your comic strip- including drawing it by hand, scanning the document and then uploading. You may also use any of the programs / websites on internet etc. Mr. Koontz has some good ideas.

This is a creative writing assignment, to be based on William Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet. This should be no more than one page in length – size 12, New Roman, single space. TASK: Select one of the following options to write on:
Romeo and Juliet have just professed their love for one another on the balcony. The next day, realizing the obstacles they will face, they come to their senses. Write a letter from either Romeo or Juliet to the other explaining why it is better that they not pursue their relationship.
Write a Shakespearean (English) sonnet between Romeo and Juliet about their joint romance.
Write a newspaper article (either sensationalist or not) reporting on the opening scene’s fight, including the Prince’s ban on fighting.

Your writing will be peer assessed according to your own rubric that you will design and upload to your wiki page. You must have two peer assessments noted in the discussion box (comments only) and marks submitted to Mrs Doleman.
